Stephen Strasburg vs The Atlanta Braves ‘Tommy Hanson’

In reporting on the Atlanta Braves’ 6′6”, 220 lb right-hander Tommy Hanson’s MVP-worthy effort in the Arizona Fall League in the fall of 2008, MLB.com’s Jonathan Mayo noted, in an condition entitled, “Hanson first hurler named AFL MVP”, that in addendum to the detail that he was the first pitcher to win the award, “One of the more incredible things in this area his performance was putting up those numbers while effective on his third pitch, a changeup.”

Strasburg was scratched after, or during, a lukewarm-up in the bullpen. There’s no word yet on what may be ill-treat. Stay tuned here, at SB Nation DC, and at Federal Baseball for more.
