Nyjer Morgan is currently contesting a 7-game suspension for throwing a ball at a spectator on August 21. Yet while appealing that case, Nyjer Morgan has gone on a week of terror. After giving Brett Hayes a dislocated shoulder on Tuesday with a WWE inspired hit at home plate, Nyjer Morgan was back it again last nighttime. In the end, he was content with his choice to be ready to rumble while the crowd couldn’t boo loud enough for him to get off the field.
Baseball reporters are calling for Morgan’s suspension today. Steven Biel writes “Seriously, this guy is really out of hegemony. He shouldn’t be playing baseball, and honestly the guy probably wants to be in therapy. He certainly shouldn’t play the rest of the year for the Nationals.”
