It’s official: ABC is confirming what I first reported last month: Courteney Cox will reunite with her former Acquaintances costar (and real-life BFF) Jennifer Aniston in the show’s second-season premiere on Sept. 22. Who will she play? Protect reading for all the special details straight starting exec producer Bill Lawrence… “She’s inane to play Courteney’s shrink named Bonnie,” reveals Lawrence, referring to Cox’s character, Jules. “Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist. Those guys are so close in real life they kind of do that for each other anyway. Bonnie has the life Jules desires she has.”
Ha. Let’s not count our chickens. Maniston isn’t always so excellent at bringing an consultation. Just adage.
