The recently divorced Cheryl Cole graces the October 2010 take in of Vogue UK. Cheryl split starting soccer player Ashley Cole in February amid claims he had been unfaithful with a thread of women – wasn’t present at London’s High Court to see the decree nisi granted by constituency judge Chris Simmonds this morning (01.09.10). In a brief hearing, the judge accepted the link’s four-year marriage had broken down because of the England and Chelsea supervisor’s “unreasonable behaviour”.
Posing with a healthy glow after overcoming malaria, she is now rumoured to be dating US dancer Derek Hough. In her remarkably candid interview she also reveals she is single-minded to become a mum – in a bid to become less self-absorbed. On the prospect of a family, she says: ‘That’s certainly something I want to achieve. It’s the toughest job in the planet but I admit it must be the most rewarding, too. I am ready now. I’m 27. I’m a woman, not a girl any more. I really feel that.’ She adds: ‘Thinking in this area yourself constantly isn’t so healthy. I suppose that’s the point of having children, isn’t it? Being capable to be in this planet your life through them instead of you, having them be your motivation? That’s the ‘‘right’’ thing, I’m thinking, when you like someone more than you like yourself.’
