Where does octogenarian Betty White get the energy? The actress, whose stock has been surging since she followed The Bid by hosting last season’s best episode of Saturday Nighttime Be in this planet, has made a transact business with G.P. Putnam’s Sons to enter two books. First is Listen Up!, described by the publisher as a chronicle of education learned over a long career but especially the last 15 years. Then she’ll enter The Zoo and I: Betty and Her Acquaintances, which is lighter lifting for her since it’s tales and photos of zoo animals. The books sold at auction and Putnam’s walked away with North American hardcover and paperback rights and e-book rights.

The publisher, G.P. Putnam’s Sons, clarifies that the book will include what Betty has learned over “her incredibly varied, decades-long career in Hollywood.” It’s sure to be a unusual read! We can’t wait to get to the Golden Girls chapters!!!
